Pictures

So, Aubrey was at Apple camp this week at the Apple store. While she was attending camp, I was learning all about the Apple products I have and how to use them. I just know enough to do what I need to do and I never take the time to learn how to do other things.

Anyway, I have not been able to post pictures on my blog since December!! My old computer crashed in December right after we got back from New York. I got a new computer, an Apple computer :)) However, when I blog I do not know how to post the pictures. I have asked Jody a few times (he would say like a million times!!) to show me how to post the pictures but he is usually gone for work and I don't want him to use his time at home on weekends helping me to figure something out that I should be able to do :))

Well today, I learned...and above you will see a picture of Taylor and Aubrey after they danced at Fantasy of Trees in November 2010!! I am so happy :))

I will be posting a lot more now and I will be playing catch up - you have a lot to see from December (well maybe November too) up to now. Sit back and enjoy!!

His Grace is Sufficient

Waiting on God

It seems that I am doing a lot of waiting right now for different things in several areas of my life. I want to be patient and wait on God's timing and God's plans. That is not easy and not what I always want to do. I usually want no waiting and I want my plans to be done immediately and just the way I want them. I am always glad that God teaches us to wait on Him and so thankful that He is there with me during the waiting time.

“Joshua had to wait seven days as he obediently marched around Jericho before God rewarded his patience and brought the walls down.

Israel waited for the Messiah to come. Mary waited nine months for Jesus’ birth. Jesus waited for the woman of Samaria to come to the well, Mary and Martha waited for Jesus to come to Bethany, and Jesus Himself waited three days in the tomb for the resurrection. A person who lives in submissive obedience to Christ is a person who is often called to wait.

~Ann Graham Lotz

If you are waiting on God in prayer remember Isaiah 40:28-31:

“Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the faint,
and to him who has no might he increases strength.
Even youths shall faint and be weary,
and young men shall fall exhausted;
but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.”

I Will Praise You Lord

I will praise you Lord when I am broken, desperate, when my heart is torn, feel deserted, lonely, in the darkest valley, when is seems my world is shattered, when I am hopeless, when I can not hear you...I will praise you Lord.
I don't understand all you allow but my life is in your hands!! I choose to trust you!
You hung on a cross, bled and died for me. I know you are here now!!
